Progress Report – Week 1
- All of my dyeing equipment/material is packed up.
- My desk is “cleaned off”. You wouldn’t know it by looking at it, but everything still on it is in daily use.
- I’ve started cleaning out the basement. Two trashcans full so far. Luckily today is garbage day so I can continue as soon as the sanitation engineers show up.
- I’ve cut way back on alcohol consumption. I am by no means, and have no urge to be, a t-totaller, but progress is progress.
- I’ve spoken to one school about online courses and have a call back in to the university about the Fiber Arts degree. I’m just not sure the latter is going to be feasible financially. At least not at this point.
- I have started two Christmas gifts (I’m knitting only four this year). First is hat for Alex, to match his dragon scarf
The second is a tam for Mom
- I’ll be able to commandeer a storage bin from the basement which means one less I’ll have to buy. I did find some for cheap at Target. I hope they’re still on sale next week when I have the money to get them.
- I’ve decided if December rolls around and I’m still not sure about my living situation, I’ll go ahead and rent a storage facility and move non-essentials there. If I happen to get a place, I can move it all out. If I don’t, I’ll just have to move the essentials into the unit when that time comes.
- I’ve started my design binder but serious designing will have to wait until after Christmas knitting is done, which will hopefully be by the end of November.
- I need to get Herbivore started since the KAL kicks off next week.
Alright, off to do dishes and head back to the basement…where are those sanitation engineers?
